Description
I got down on my stomach, used my elbows as support to get his perspective, and used a slow shutter speed and wide aperture to blur the background flowers. I watched the wind and waited for the telltale sign of the farthest flowers to move before closing the shutter as it swept its way towards me. Shadowed vines behind the whole cluster of daisies provide a nice black background. This photograph was taken using 400 ISO print film and my Nikon FM2. I used my Nikkor 50mm 1.8 lens with a medium aperture and a slow shutter speed (1/30) to allow for the blurring effect.
