Description
This shot is a multiple exposure of a daisy and some blue-eyed grass of southern Ontario. I used 400 ISO T-max Black and White film using a slow shutter speed at f/8. The evening sun was cascading through a basin in the tree line between the neighbour’s house and mine; so, I took one exposure facing south, and one facing north for the composition. It is simple, but the fading stalks tribute the Orphic tradition: soma sema.
To get information on how to do multiple exposures, see my photo Day Lilly and Scarlet Lychnis. I explain the full process there! To get there, just click this link: http://www.soma-sema.com/category/floral/page/17/
