Description
On the yard of an old house I used to live in with my father and older brother, there are several apple trees that blossom around the same time (though there are a few different species). When they do, the bees come out in force and mass on them. However, not all the blossoms on a single tree happen at once, and so when the bees have swarmed the newly ready blossoms on the tree, they move on to the patch of dandelions on the front yard.
The process of pollination which bees like this one facilitate is a remarkable one and exemplary of the miraculous relationships that occur in nature. Symbiotic relationships such as this one should be a beacon to humankind as to what we can be as a species to this earth and to the other life forms around us, sentient and non-sentient.
