The pinkish hue comes form the magenta of the skylight filter on the end of the 135mm Nikon lens I was using. I hunkered down as low as I could from the one-foot high string fence that gave the stones a wide berth from the people and took this shot. As I do with many of my prints, I used a slightly grainy 400 ISO Kodak film for this photograph, giving the photograph the texture of the rocks within.
